Entry will be permitted with a printed ticket. We eagerly welcome you to  Hilmy Cellars on this special day.

Total solar eclipses are relatively rare.  

At Hilmy Cellars we are fortunate and excited to be in the path of one of those rare events on April 8, 2024.  The duration of the eclipse will be from 12:15 to 2:56 p.m. CT.  The period of solar totality will be from 1:32 p.m. to 1:37 p.m.

• Guests under 21 years old will not be required to purchase a full ticket.
• A snack box will be available for those patrons for $20. 
• Each ticket should be pre-purchased.
• Additional by-the-glass and bottle sales are available on our patio.
• Due to the anticipated size of the crowd and the potential for limited seating, you are encouraged to bring your own lawn chairs and/or blankets.  You are welcome to bring a cooler with additional supplies.
• For the safety and comfort of all guests, if you bring your dog, please keep it on a leash at all times.
• Even though solar glasses are provided as part of your purchased ticket,  care should be taken to avoid eye injury. The solar glasses provided are adult-size. ***If you bring children, please bring their own safe child-viewing glasses.   Looking up at the Sun without special viewing glasses is dangerous and can cause permanent damage to the eyes.  
• Because of this event's anticipated size and logistics, there will be no refunds under any circumstances.
• Hilmy Cellars will not be liable for any damages caused during the event.
• Please be aware that traffic will be extremely high on the day of the event, both in the morning and after the event, so please plan accordingly.  
• As per Texas law, ABSOLUTELY NO OUTSIDE ALCOHOL is allowed on the Hilmy Cellars premises.
